Guilford Football Looking Strong for 2026 Season

๐Ÿ“ Kavanaugh Field, Guilford High School
Guilford High School football enters the 2026 season with significant momentum, returning 14 starters including eight on defense from an 8-3 record in 2025 that included a Class M playoff appearance. Head Coach Brian White (in his fourth season with a 20-11 record) will rely on a strong defensive foundation featuring senior defensive end Chase Hall (7 sacks, 9 tackles for loss), senior linebacker Bryce Perry (81 tackles, 12 TFLs, 5 sacks), and junior defensive end Ty Ludington (33 tackles, 12 TFLs, 2 sacks). The team also returns its entire secondary. Offensively, the Grizzlies must replace running back Aidan Ruotolo and quarterback Alex Tafro from last season. The team plays in the Southern Connecticut Conference and competes in CIAC Class M.
