Affordable Housing Project Planned on Saw Mill Road

The Town of Guilford plans to donate a parcel of land on Saw Mill Road to Green Planet Company for a sustainable, affordable housing project. The developer proposes building six homes with six accessory dwelling units, all deed-restricted as affordable rentals. This follows the success of the Great Hill Cottage Community, featuring modular, pre-fab homes that meet U.S. Department of Energy 'Net Zero Energy Ready' standards and were built for under $280,000 each.
